Composed in a style close to that of Vivaldi, the Allegro from Fiocco (a family of italian musicians who lived in Brussels) seduces by its joyful character, its clear structure and its accessibility. It has become a "must" in the career of all young violinists.
The series « Easy Piano Accompaniments » (EPA) offers, as the name suggests, simplified accompaniments of standard repertoire suited to pianists with a modest level of playing. They are meant to encourage young pupils to play music with others. We are thinking of course of parents, siblings, friends… but mainly of teachers who will thus be able to enliven their lessons efficiently and musically. For the needs of simplification, some part writing rules have been set aside and some Tuttis have been shortened. The violin part on the other hand is totally faithful to the original.
