Serenade (Ständchen, in German) D.957, is the last lyrical love song of the Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797-1828), before his early death at the age of 31. This Lied for high voice accompanied by fortepiano, among the most famous of this master of German Romantic music, was published posthumously in 1829, in his collection The Swan Song (Schwanengesang).

This transcription for voice and guitar is suitable for a mezzo or tenor voice. It was written in the key of B minor, which makes it a third lower than Schubert's original version. Famous singers have performed this Lied in this key, such as Nana Mouskouri.
