The general terms and conditions of Editions Partita are available in French, German and English. However, only the French version is legally binding.

SWITZERLAND

Methods of purchase

Secure payment by credit card via PAYPAL. This is the safest and fastest method. You do not need to have a Paypal account. You will receive a email confirming the delivery max. 48 h after the payment. As a rule and if no particular information is given on the website, the items you purchased will be sent within 2-3 days from the receipt of your order.

For deliveries in Switzerland, you can chose the direct order by invoice with prepayment (this method of purchase is available only for clients who can indicate a delivery address in Switzerland). Max. 48 h after your order you will receive a confirmation mail and an invoice with all the information necessary for the payment. As soon as your payment is confirmed, the items you purchased will be sent.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are determined depending on the ordered item(s) and the postal rates in effect. You can also retrieve your order personally (on appointment only) by choosing the “no delivery” option. Editions Partita guaranty that the purchased files are available on the server. However, they cannot be held responsible for any problem that may occur while downloading the purchased file.

Presentation and content

Covers of our books can vary from the thumbnails displayed on the website. Similarly, they may be differences in presentation between the PDF files, printable descriptions or extracts available on our website and the printed works offered for sale. On no account can Editions Partita be held responsible for such variations.

Exchange or repossession of purchased items

Our items are neither returned nor exchanged. In the event the customer notices any defect that we might have missed, we request he informs us within 8 days after reception of the item(s). The faulty item(s) have to be returned by mail, without delay and well packaged. If the reported problem is indeed a delivery mistake or a serious manufacturing defect (missing pages, missing content or illegible music sheet), the item(s) will be exchanged and the client will receive compensation for the postage fees.

The editor can in no way be held responsible for an error or omission in the content of a book due to the author or arranger.
Damaged, lost or stolen parcels are insured within the limits of the Swiss postal services.

SALES CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL DOWNLOADS – PDF FILES

  1. By buying downloadable files (PDF files), the user (purchaser) equally engages himself to respect the following conditions, relative to the terms of copyright:
    1. The score featured on the downloaded file is protected by the same copyright laws applicable to a printed music score. The purchaser is authorised to use this score for personal use.
    2. However, the purchaser is not authorised:
      • to reproduce the score for any other use;
      • to photocopy and distribute the score;
      • to share or distribute  the purchased PDF file:
      • to modify or manipulate the purchased PDF file;
      • to use it all or in part, for any other use then playing the work featured on the purchased score;
      • to give or transmit to anyone the supplied password held for opening the purchased downloaded files.
  2. All abuse or non-respect of the fore-mentioned conditions could lead to legal proceedings according to the current laws.
  3. The file must be downloaded during a period of 30 days following the date of purchase.
  4. In case of a problem, the purchaser is required to contact PARTITA Editions a soon as possible (contact address website at www.editions-partita.com, by e-mail at (info@editionspartita.com) or by phone or fax at: +41(0)32.751.85.76.).
  5. The file can be opened and printed by means of the supplied password.
  6. The files put on the market are high quality files and can be printed in high resolution. PARTITA Editions cannot be held for responsible in case of problems related to the printing of PDF files (printer settings, faulty or non-adapted printer, etc.).
  7. PARTITA Editions cannot be held responsible for eventual mistakes featured on the purchased score as well as all inadvertent mistakes in the text formulated by each author.
  8. PARTITA Editions cannot be held responsible for computer-related or other problems related to the download of purchased PDF files.
