Postcard from Constantinople In a dream where Bach would have visited Istanbul, we could imagine him visiting the Saint-Sophie Basilica and hearing the calls of the muezzin, stepping into the legendary Orient Express for a trip west. The piece starts in harmonic minor in a slightly Arabic style that is then drawn towards a major, baroque style on a 7/8 background ostinato. It is an interesting piece for medium levelled guitarists who appreciate technical challenges.
